NEW MEXICO ARCHERY TROPHY

NEW MEXICO ARCHERY TROPHY ELK

7 DAY HUNT in North Central NM
SEPT. 9-15
SEPT 18-24
$6,500+ State Tag Fee

New Mexico is among the top 3 states for consistently producing a higher percentage of older age class higher scoring mature bulls. These hunts take place during the pre-rut and the beginning of full rut. Good bugling activity is usually a common everyday occurrence.

Bowhunters will have the best advantage to take trophy bulls on these hunts, shot placement and penetration will “spell success.”

We STRONGLY encourage FIXED Broad Heads for the best success.  A Mature Bull Elk's hide is far tougher than any other animal most people hunt in addition to the rut activity seeing them often times coated and caked with mud from wallows.  It is critical to get the Correct Shot Placement and Penetration for a Heart or Double Lung hit to successfully take an Elk.
Our field data and many years of experience Outfitting & Guiding tell us what works best in the woods.
Hunting with us on NM Private Land in North Central New Mexico increases your odds of success greatly.  If you follow our recommendations you are also prepared for success in the moment it counts the most.
A wounded animal is your hunt.  We aim to work closely with the Land Owners and Manage for good growth and good numbers and therefore we generally count a wounded Animal as your hunt as most places do.
